The berry cobbler is absolutely delicious, so be sure to pace yourself with the meat to save room for dessert. They also offer a great selection of sodas and fresh beers. The local owners are wonderful, and the staff is incredibly friendly.
I had the triple meat platter, and let me tell you, "well" doesn't even begin to describe my experience— it was absolutely fantastic! The brisket was excellent, perfectly balanced in flavor, and it melted in my mouth like butter. I will definitely order that again. The ribs were also outstanding, and the chicken was moist and full of flavor. The only downside for me was the coleslaw; it was a bit too sweet for my liking. However, the beans were delicious and I will definitely order those again. I also recommend eating the grain bread right away, as I let mine sit and it cooled off too quickly. I personally love cornbread when it's served hot!
The meat is excellent, but the side dishes are poorly done and detract from the overall experience. If you stick to just the meat, you'll be satisfied; the seal and ribs are particularly good. I also tried the pulled pork and tri-tip, which were just alright. The atmosphere is decent, and they have a selection of craft beers that are enjoyable.
The food is good and delicious! Unfortunately it was really cold, we were the last costumes this day! Service is okay! I can't say it's good or bad, they're just okay! It is the system where you pay and then get the food, at the end of the payment you have the top offer, but why tip if I need to pick up my order on the counter? As I said, we? re the last costumes and the lady give my name out of the counter, so I think I just gave the tip for her my order? Never come back, unfortunately, because the food was good, I think it is really good if its warm or fresh!
Yummy barbecue! The patio is unique and cute, especially at night with the hanging lights. It?s loud?between kids running around, cars on the road, and the food truck next door. It?s all part of the experience. The brisket was delicious. I might suggest having like two more barbecue sauce options. The craft beer!! I had the most tasty sour of my life here?the Bootleggers Bay from Barebottle Brewing Company. I will definitely visit here again.
