Typically, when the health department shuts a place down, it indicates that there are significant issues. We used to enjoy having lunch here, but that changed after we saw a cockroach walking around in the dim sum and sushi areas. We will not be returning.
Came here for a reception with a giant party probably close to 80 people. They sectioned off a room for us but we still bled into the main dining room. After drinks and groupings were situated we hung around and waited for the lines to go down. This may come off as super gross but it wasn't a deal breaker for me. However we saw a small cockroach come from under the table. My friend killed it and we kinda brushed it off given how sloppy diners are and food probably is baked into the floor and just the volume and speed of which food is made. This isn't Las Vegas.Anyways started with sushi and tried a few things and the surprisingly the poke was ok and the most memorable next to the tasty and edible unagi nigiri. For round 2 got dimsum which is a no frills tasty and sanitize way to eat given the super hot steamers. Got shumai, bbq pork bun, Har gow and tempura gyoza on the fried side. Also had hot sour soup with a bit of Chinese vinegar and Xiao long baos that didn't have much soup inside.Rounded out the last plate with fried rice, chow fun, steamed fish, Chinese garlic eggplant, fried shrimp, crispy roast pork and suckling roast duck which were the best things to me.Overall ate more than I wanted but tried so many things so despite the atmosphere you get what you pay for. I was so full hours later.
Forced to Charge (Price Tax) X 18% Tips for party of 7 !!!!Two families plus several friends have dinner together tonight. We sit in the corner of the restaurant, we did not see any special service to our table. In fact, most used plates were not picked up at all. This is buffet, and we picked the foods ourselves. But the restaurant charged 18% tips after tax, and the waitress wrote the tips and total number on the receipt. That made you not possible to change !!!Nobody told me that it would charge so much for buffet when I came into the restaurant. And nobody told me that the TAX also needs to charge the tips.I lived very close to this restaurant, and have been here many times. I also think that we need to support local small business. But this time, I feel angry about the extra tips they forced us to pay.Friends, if you have seven or more to have dinner together, do not choose this buffet restaurant. ... I will never.ThanksJ. S
I went with my fiancé and a close friend. The food looked fantastic and was quite good. However, I requested a water refill that never came, and no one really attended to our table. The only staff member who seemed to check on us was the one who cleared our dishes. While the food was enjoyable, the service could definitely use some improvement.
I really enjoy this buffet and have consistently had positive experiences there. I usually go for lunch right when they open, and everything I find is fresh, hot, and delicious. They offer a fantastic selection, including duck, fried chicken wings, tempura, excellent shrimp fried rice, clams in black bean sauce, and roast pork. The sushi is also impressive—super fresh with a wide variety and great taste. To top it all off, they have ice cream and flan for dessert. Overall, the quality, quantity, and price are all fantastic.
