I had what was supposed to be a Filet Mingon, aside from the piece of meat being undercooked it tasted like an old shoe. My wife had a Filet of a local fish and it was way overdone. It didn't have any softness to it and looked very dry. The one good thing I can say about this place is that the service was good and efficient.
Do not go to this restaurant. Like others who have left reviews, we had visited in the past and it is nowhere near what it used to be. The food is poor quality, the service is bad, and it is overpriced.
Seafood place located near Sabana park. We had the place to ourselves during the corona outbreak. I had a tuna pasta and everyone else had shrimp. We were all happy with our meals.
This was our first meal in Costa Rica, and we were not let down. We all ordered the shrimp pasta with different sauces, and the portion sizes were generous (with plenty of shrimp). The ambiance was perfect for conversation, and the service was attentive.
Despite its casual vibe, don't be deceived - the food at this restaurant is top-notch. My husband ordered the fish fillet and grilled shrimp, while I opted for the shrimp in butter sauce. We also enjoyed sides of mashed potatoes, beet salad, vegetables, guacamole with chips, cold beers, and sangria. All of the dishes were delicious, and we noticed many locals dining nearby. The menu had a nice variety of options to choose from. The service was friendly, efficient, and polite, although the women's restroom could have been cleaner. Overall, if you're looking for tasty and healthy seafood, this is the place to go!
