República Casa Cervecera - San Jose

Not too busy to get in. Food and drinks were good. Waitress was friendly. We ordered beer, cocktails, portobello hamburger and fish and chips. All highly recommended.

I love this place. We always make it a point to go here when we are in San Jose. I love their house IPA drafts. Also, the food is fantastic (I especially like the boneless buffalo wings).

Really great bar and brewery. Cold beer and fair prices too. Large venue with varied menu from burgers to steak had their fish and chips and they were great and good portion

I strongly disagree with the 4.4 rating this place had at the moment I write this. I went Saturday for lunch and everything was great. The fried yucca was crispy and tasty, the boneless chicken wings were crispy and perfect in moisture. The german sausage was delicious although the size of the sauerkraut portion could've been more generous. It started pouring when we were there and the waiter was kind enough to walk my family and I to our Uber with an umbrella. My initial reaction was that this place was a little expensive but after the food came out, I totally changed my mind. The food was on point and generous and the waiter was kind and helpful. Will go again.

Good food and beverages.. prices are higher than other restaurants but they have a great environment and the staff is very friendly.. a good stop in San Jose... we were there in a concert and it was great. They can give u a little explanation about the beer process
