Contribuisci feedbackSoy residente de San José Iturbide, me atrevo a decir que conozco todos los lugares para comer en el municipio, desde el puestecito de la esquina hasta los restaurantes sin distinción alguna, pero este pequeño restaurante te cautiva, la comida de competencia, servicio sin igual, desde los meseros y el siempre tan atento chef, a mi familia y a mi nos encanta, tiene un gran potencial, que no les extrañe ver este restaurante crecer de gran manera, sigan así.
Now, I have visited this lovely restaurant 5-6 times since they opened in June,2016. Each time, I have tried something different and each time I have been impressed with how delicious the food is. Upon inquiring about where the chef received his training, I learned that he graduated from a Gastronomy University in San Miguel de Allende, did his internship in Madrid under a one star Michelin chef and worked at the Rosewood hotel in San Miguel and the New Marriott Courtyard in Queretaro. While in school he worked under a Swiss trained, Sri Lankan chef in San Miguel. He obviously learned a lot from all of his mentors! No wonder his food tastes so special!Do yourself a favor and travel to San Jose Iturbide for a special meal. Whether it is his pozole, the mocajetes or his Swiss enchiladas, you can't go wrong. And save room for his chocolate dessert or his broccoli flan. What a memorable experience!
El Pozole es delicioso, el menu muy mexicano y delicioso, lugar agradable, muy limpio, prueben los ostres, siempre con materias primas mexicanas especiales el chef nos sorprende, pidan el cafe de olla con canela :)
Es una excelente Opcion para comer o cenar, su famosa agua de pepino, limón y chia es realmente rica, sus sopes de chicharron, el pozole y los chiles en nogada de temporada, realmente muy ricos, un lugar para disfrutar de buena comida
My recent re-visit to Los Compadres was as special as all my previous visits. The first bite of food lets you know you are about to receive a special meal! This is not your "run-of-the-mill" Mexican food. This food has been prepared by a well-trained master chef. And what a beautifully decorated restaurant with artisana from various parts of Mexico. I understand that Los Compadres will now be open Monday through Saturday for lunch and dinner. Closed Sunday. What a treat to dine here!
