Cedar Creek Inn San Juan Capistrano

First, it was wonderful to eat! we had cocktails and appetizers (artichoke hearts popcorn shrimp in the bar before our dinner reservations and everything was great! the hostess was also wonderful. it went slightly downhill from there. she went to us and the table for 5 was set only to 4 so we all waited in the center of the dining room felt silly while they tried to find us a table to our group. no big thing, but still strange, as they said that the table is ready. the waiter must have had a free day. we have created our anrees (blue crab halibut. delikatessen! before our salates (which were never come, we were charged false amounts to 2 escapes and he was mia the most time. When we pointed out the mistakes, he looked at us as if we had caused the problems. everyone has these days, but it would have been nice if he just apologized. I'll go back, but I'll check the bill for mistakes three times and hope I won't get the same waiter.

The restaurant has a warm, welcoming, and relaxing atmosphere. They offer an excellent variety of dishes, outstanding service, and some of the best desserts around.

This is always a good way to meet our friends from orange county because it's halfway for them and for us from san diego. I've never been disappointed if it was just a lunch with a friend or, like yesterday, a group of 8 of us for lunch. the decorations for the seasons are always festive, the waiting staff is attentive and funny, and eating is always ingenious. the desserts should die for and perfect for sharing. I recommend cedar creek!

We've been coming here for 10 years and have always had a wonderful experience. We love the personal touch; it feels like family.

INside, it is cozy and inviting. The outdoor patio is beautiful and my favorite place to dine there during nice weather.
