The service was excellent, the atmosphere was wonderful, and the food was incredibly tasty. The place is a bit small, so there might be a wait, but it's definitely worth it. They serve breakfast all day, but I highly recommend the Chile Relleno with their handmade tortillas. The burritos are also fantastic, especially the shrimp burrito. It seems to be a family-friendly spot, so the service might be a little slower, but the delicious food makes it all worthwhile. If you're in the area or planning a day trip, I highly suggest stopping by for a great meal!
This is one of the gems I found in San Juan Capistrano. You have made fresh, handmade tortillas, sopis or huaraches to order! All traditional meats are available; adobada, chorizo and carnitas are my favorites.
The meat portions in my tacos were small in view of the price. The food was good and we will come back to try more. I think my future experiences will be better.
I adore El Coyotito not only for its entirely house-made dishes but also for its inviting atmosphere. It feels like I'm sitting in a cozy kitchen. It's not overly formal, but it's definitely more than just a taco shop. The freshly squeezed fruit juices are excellent. If you sit at the small counter, you can watch your food being prepared right in front of you. It truly feels like a neighborhood kitchen. The staff is always the same hardworking team. It can get quite busy, but that's a testament to its popularity.
This is our favorite Mexican food restaurant. Their best meat is the Adobada and if you go for tacos, you have to try the hand made tortillas. We've catered from this restaurant many times for parties and events, and the service never disappoints. In short, this is authentic Mexican cuisine that you don't want to miss.
