They can't go wrong by going to lunch here! eating is so cheap and the portions are huge! I can't say enough good things about this place! the personal is wonderful- many Venezuelan employees who are absolutely amazing people and are so friendly!. it is great to see this restaurant that helps them and gives them jobs, they deserve it! if they have the chance to go here!
There is a series of sensible restaurants that all grouped together on this street and they all seemed full of native. that was not our best meal, but it was decent. the lunch special was sohlen (for example for an appetizer, escape, and a...Trink I thought the appetizer was excellent. the chips were crispy on the outside and slightly chew on the inside, which was strange, but I enjoyed the contrast and the suppe was tasty. the chicken stable was very good and the sauce went well with the simple rice, but I did not care about the potato salad, too oily. the boar was a bit bland and hard. the staff was very friendly.
The price has increased somewhat since my previous visit, but their regular menus are still a bargain at sohlen. they always offer several good decisions. I had ocopa to begin and it was a great serving and delicious. for a main course the milanesa was excellent as the aji de gallina. the menu includes a drink and in this case it was a great pitcher of carambola juice. no dessert is included in the menu, but we have very full. I went a few times and always found it very good. it is a popular place so that sometimes there is a line to get, but they can avoid that by going early.
We've been to this place a couple of times. It's only open for lunch and has a fixed menu meal for Soles (slightly more than . This includes a course meal and a drink. Usually there is a choice of a couple...of items for the appetizer and a couple of difference main courses. Three of us were there and all of us liked everything we had. The dessert is usually something simple such as ice cream. Servings are substantial, service is good and the place is clean. It's a popular spot so sometimes there is a line up. It opens at noon.
