Parrillada San Cayetano - San Juan

Standard Parrillada on Hwy 7 just before it turns to head to Chile. I saw the Chivito Hoy sign and had to go. We had a portion of baby goat for me and a 1/4 chicken for my wife and we split a salad, a beer, and a 1/2 bottle of wine for $35 US including tip. Very good food.

La peor comida de todo el viaje. Las papas fritas estaban chorreando aceite y la carne era horrible.Lo peor de todo fue el precio. Extremadamente caro y el baño todo sucio.Worst food in there whole trip. The fries where bathed in oil and my meat was awful. The prices were sky high and worst of all the bathroom was very filthy

We asked our driver to take us to a restaurant that the locals use and he took us here. It was excellent. We had steak sandwiches which were well cooked and tender. He also brought out snacks to start and the chimichurri was great. The staff were very friendly and helpful. A great atmosphere. We'd definitely recommend it.
