Contribuisci feedbackI ordered my burger cooked medium rare but it came out overcooked. The presentation was nice as I requested it to be cut in half. The flavor was good, but not amazing considering the $19 price tag. I may return in a few years but it's not the first place I would think of when I'm hungry. The prices are definitely on the higher side.
The bartender/waitress at this restaurant was exceptional, tirelessly moving between tables the whole time. However, the rest of the staff, including the owner, did not provide any help and instead gave me unfriendly looks. I'm not sure what I did to deserve that treatment, especially since it was my first visit. Despite this, I have no intention of returning. It seems like they may be on the verge of going out of business, and perhaps it's for the best. For the record, I owned a bar/grill for a decade and always emphasized the importance of providing friendly service above all else. The atmosphere at this restaurant was quite dismal. On a side note, the tri-tip dish was average at best, but the onion rings were delicious.
Laguna Grill offers fantastic salads. We tried the BBQ salad with tri-tip and the Cobb with tri-tip, both of which were delicious! The only suggestion I have is to chill the Romaine lettuce in advance for a crisper texture. We used a coupon for our meal, as the prices have increased significantly. Overall, this was a great choice for our anniversary lunch.
I ordered medium rare. It was overcooked. The presentation was really nice as I asked it to be cut in 1/2. The flavor was good. Not amazing but good. For $19 for a burger, it should be amazing! I'm sure I'll be back in another 5 years or so, but it's absolutely not a place which would pop up in my head to go to if I'm hungry. It WILL pop up in my head that it's expensive though.
The bartender/waitress was outstanding hustling between the both the entire time...all the staff, including the owner, did not offer assistance to her and did nothing but glare at me...have no idea what I possibly could of done to warrant that being my first time there... nevertheless....I won't go back...my guess is that they are close to going out of business and deservedly so....btw...I owned a bar/grill for 10 years and all of my employees were trained that the very first thing and truly the only important thing is happy service...a very gloomy place...PS. the tre-tip was mediocre at best...but the onion rings were GREAT...
