No other customers, we dined in at 1pm and not one other party or person came in to eat. That should've been our first hint when we walked in and had the place to ourselves.
Stayed at the Wayfarer for a few nights and had drinks and coffee here only, no food. They have redone the space since I was last here 2 years ago, and it's much more open and light than it used to be. Very nice place for drinks if you are staying at the hotel, good selection of local beers on tap.
I was a guest at the Kinney hotel so came here for a dinner as I had been on the road for hours and was too tired to go somewhere else.Ordered truffle fries and grilled cheese, which cost around $30 plus tips. The fries were your basic frozen fries and did not have much flavor of either Parmesan or truffles. The amount of fries was also quite small about McDonalds medium size and this cost $12!The grilled cheese sandwich was literally 2 hamburger buns flipped on their sides with cheddar cheese in the middle. This was about $15.The food is total rip off, subpar and not worth the money.
This place is a mess, it is touted as a restaurant/bar, but it is a shame. I ordered a beer on tab and a thing of wings. With tax and tips, $30. The 5 wings were low quality and the beer was pretty flat. The place itself has games and pinball machines so attracted families and kids, which is totally fine. Just don't market it as a restaurant. It is misleading.Think hard before you go here, there is plenty of choices right down the street in downtown SLO.
This place is a joke. Went in sat down and the help never came to the table. I can't say the help was horrible because they never said anything to us. Definitely the worst place I've been to in years. Stay away my friends.
