Taco King - San Luis Obispo

Wow! I absolutely loved everything about this place. The staff took the time to explain their best dishes, and I decided to try the King Burrito. I was not disappointed—it's HUGE and so delicious! I also really enjoyed the ambiance and overall vibe. I will definitely be returning!

The Mexican cuisine here is outstanding, with dishes made fresh from scratch using quality ingredients and served promptly. The salsa bar is impressive, offering a variety of options. The staff is incredibly friendly and attentive. Highly recommended!

We drove through the city and needed somewhere to stop by for lunch. We loved their food!! My son was craving fish tacos so ordered fish tacos from a la carte, fresh cod cooked just right. I had carnita plate,very generous portions, not all fatty meat like some stores. Our family constantly finds restaurants food too salty but at Taco King everything was seasoned just right and that is a big deal! Don't forget fantastic churro with ice cream! Friendly service and colorful decorations cheered us up while driving in the heavy miserable weather.

3/29/22 Tuesday. Chicken Chipotle burrito was super delicious, also salsa, chips were very good. Interior was looking nice. I will try more menu items next visit.

You serve the best burritos and nachos I've ever tasted. Everything was fresh and flavorful, and there were plenty of salsa options to choose from. The waitress was friendly and extremely helpful. The menu offered a variety of choices. No matter what you decide to order, you're sure to enjoy it. I highly recommend trying different salsas with your meal, especially the corn salsa mixed with the mango salsa—it's absolutely delicious!
