Arrecifes - Nizuc Brazilian Restaurant/Moon Palace

This was a terrible restaurant and never had such bad meat ! Thank gif we didn’t have to wait long to be seated but with that being said the entire resort was not a very good experience and should not be a 5 star rated resort ! Doesn’t compare at all to other resorts we have stayed at.

Lots of food. They will bring you as much meat as you would like. There are many different side dishes as well. The desserts were good but the Mayan coffee was amazing.

When at Moon Palace we always plan at least one dinner at the Brazilian Steakhouse. It's a great way to sample a dozen different meats and pick your favorite. If you ask for small portions you can then go back for the ones you like the best. The buffet dishes are very good but don't fill up on them. Save room for all of the entree.

We visited Moon Palace during Spring Break (April 2-April 8, 2023) and it was extremely difficult to get a table at a restaurant that required a reservation. We ended up dining at Arrecifes and it was excellent. It was actually our best meal at the resort. Gaby (Gabriella) was awesome. Our plate was never empty and she made sure we didn't walk out hungry! Please note They will tell you that reservations are only open from 10:00 am to 6:00 pm. for restaurants that require a reservation. I made my reservation (elsewhere) at 1:00 am. My thoughts are they do this so they can sell you a day pass at the Grand Resort for dinner.

One of our favorite restaurants when we visit every year! For the last few years we have been so impressed with Chef Erick. He truly spoils us when we come and greets us personally with a special dish. He takes special care with his cooking and meat is definitely his specialty! Eat a very light lunch before you come here for dinner since you will want to try each of the wonderfully prepared meats and salads!
