Uovo Cucina Restaurante - San Luis

We ordered 3 different dishes meat, pasta and wings. all were very tasty and well presented and quickly arrived. our waiter was friendly and helped with recommendations. the only disadvantage was that credit cards are not accepted. that can be difficult for traveling.

I'm here for a romantic dinner with my husband, who's a local. At first we were not sure what we expect to be the only people in the restaurant, probably because it was a rainy Tuesday night. The atmosphere was modern and romantic. The service was excellent. For an appetizer we ordered mussels that were very good. The star of the show was the Lomo with potatoes and a Malbec reduction sauce. My husband and I both ordered it and we honestly can't stop talking how big the court was. The meat was cooked to perfection, had great taste and cut like butter. And the reduction sauce was just amazing. For dessert we had homemade ice cream with berries absolutely delicious. I was in many, many restaurants all over Argentina and that was by far the best food I had in the country. A real jewel hidden in downtown San Luis. I want to go back the next time we're in town to visit my laws.

Everything was great. I would recommend this to everyone! first class kitchen. the salmon with garnel and mush was perfect.

I spent 3 months in 2012 in San Luis, so I went to almost every decent restaurant in this city. Uovo was a great favorite! They have a small menu that helps with the quality of the food they serve. We enjoyed great customer service and very good food. Your decoration could be a little misleading if you expect something funny, but I still think it could work for a romantic dinner. BTW, they have an additional fee for using credit cards, American Express are not accepted. Still, it's worth it!

The dishes of a reduced menu are excellent, with very good presentation and exquisite flavor.
