Foster's Family Donuts - San Marcos

Best buttermilk donuts around. Owner is nice to regulars so there are some perks. The sandwiches are good and they never run out from my experience. It’s a lax, mom/pop shop so don’t expect to be able to pay with a credit card.

This is the perfect place for a heavy snack. You will enjoy their doughnuts. Kudos!

This is the first donut shop I entered in this area. It is a nice shop staffed by nice people ready to help. It was a busy place that were served quickly. Donuts are displayed in a glass faced counter making the available sweets easy to select from a broad range of filled, glazed, frosted and plain sweets. With a dozen treats in the box I placed on our kitchen counter, it didn't take long for our visitors to smile with their selections. Donuts sales are cash carry. That was a surprise, but not a problem. If we have donut seeking visitors again, I'll go back, but will be there earlier.

Made fresh daily. The selection is limited but they have the basics. They do sell out quickly because they are so fresh and yummy but they will try and make it up to the consumer by offering free alternatives. With purchase of course. Staff is very helpful and personable, a big 10 out of 10!!!

They have a ham cheese or with jalapeños stuffed croissant(it's square) that is so delicious. You gotta go early cause once they're gone, that's it no mas. For $2.80, worth every penny!
