I ordered two creatures in a cup (3 dollar) and my partner ordered two creatures in a cone. I got mango and fresca and my partner got mamey and nuez. we both loved it! we both thought that two creatures were not enough, but the creatures were bigger than we thought and they thought that they felt forever! the man behind the counter was beautiful and offered us to try everything. I also love the colors of this place. very nice.
Delicious everything! the place is always very clean. sometimes toooo clean?! maybe use a little less bleaching agent and fabuloso because the small wheel that sees chicharrones sometimes tastes like fabuloso? I always enjoy the chamangos and paletas.
La Mixteca in San Marcos has outstanding customer service! They offer the freshest fruits and the most popular dishes. I highly recommend trying the leche quemada.
HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!PROs Affordable- Delicious- Great service- Quick service- Variety of flavors (try something new, you wont regret it Welcoming atmosphereCONs:Nothing other than location because it's behind other businessesThis place is a hidden gem. I definitely encourage you to try this place. I stumbled across this place yesterday when driving through the Walmart parking lot...i gotta say, it's AMAZING! I prefer the variety of popcicles they make there, they have easily 20+ flavors you've never had before and they're generic flavors like oreo, chocolate, etc, are by far the best I've ever had. Do yourself a favor and go get a few, they're $2 a piece of greatness. Also, the service is great too. The gentleman that works there is happy to see you even if you come in last minute, he's even willing to make things for you that aren't even on the menu if you have you're own idea
I visited this restaurant for the first time yesterday. The place was clean and the staff were very helpful and friendly. The popsicles (paletas) were amazing and tasted just like those in Mexico! They offer a variety of flavors and even let you mix your own ice cream. I tried a delicious ice cream with quiteito flavor, and they had actual quiteitos in the freezer! I had a leche cemada paleta and my girlfriend got a mango cream paleta, and we also shared a lime sorbet. I can't wait to go back!
