Beautiful small place for brunch when they get up at the weekend. only the note is the cleanliness of the place (flying and water stain odor.) otherwise simply 5 stars.
Warm service and the place is managed with care. hopefully it will be open again soon! beautiful decor with backdrop to vintage dinners. I recommend getting the pancakes.
Was in the neighbourhood and thought I would stop here despite the recent bad reviews. had not received the chance as they had a temporary closure from the health department for rodent infestation I did not return
I haven 't been to The Grill in years. It was one of my Granny 's favorites. Yesterday my daughters suggested we go for a late breakfast/early lunch. The food in the photos above are not real! Here 's a list: 1. There was a hair in my cold greasy hash browns. 2. There was an actual small dirt clod in my daughter 's salad. 3. A bug crawled out of my overcooked cold eggs. The waiter was actually standing there and when I said something and pointed, he just swooshed it away. 4. I had to ask four times for my toast and when it came there was no butter Which would have been fine if there was butter/jam on the table. 5. My daughter ordered a BLT and asked to add turkey. She got a very wilted turkey burger with a slice of Buddig turkey on it? 6. I asked for my bacon to be well done. It was cold and almost raw. 7. My other daughter ordered a tuna sandwich. It was the only thing she ate all day. A few hours later she didn 't feel well and spent the rest of the afternoon and night throwing up and having diarrhea. We may be going to the ER for extreme food poisoning if she doesn 't start to feel better in the next few hours. She is still very sick. 8. First they told us they didn 't have any eggs. Then they came back and said the found two. We were the only customers for most of the time there and the service was still horrible. When we mentioned the hair, dirt and bug, they just shrugged it off. I think it 's time for the Health Department to make a visit. It 's obvious that whoever owns The San Marino Grill now doesn 't give a s*it. I pray that they turn the business over to someone who cares. It is my understanding that they are listed on Several Delivery apps under several different names so my guess is they were busy cooking food for the Alias Restaurants and don 't give a sh*t about actual in person customers. The health department has been notified.
