Wow what an unexpected find! Fantastic, very warm service, delicious food and reasonable prices. More of a home cooked, authentic Japanese cuisine rather than typical Japanese restaurant food (we loved it since it reminded us of Japan).Unfortunately there was currently no seating inside, and there were only two tables outside, so more of a take out place if you don't manage to score a table. Also the owners take Covid precautions very seriously, so please bear that in mind.All in all a total unexpected highlight of our trip.

The team that works here are top notch. Kind, attentive, hard-working, great food. A mother-daughter team that delivers authentic and thoughtful Japanese cuisine. Nice variety on menu that is not often available in most other restaurants. Many plant-based options as well that are not just Here is a cucumber roll, that should satisfy you. All of the food, including plant-based, has great attention to detail, is well balanced and filling, and you get the impression that you are eating someone 's homemade food, and the treatment you receive is that of a house guest more than a customer. Cannot recommend them enoughVegetarian options: Extensive vegan options that are original designed dishes, such as a katsu made from sponge tofu on a sauce that takes a huge amount of investment to make. Many more options for meals, so you don 't have to do the thing where you order five sides to create one vegan meal. Also, they are extremely conscientious about making the food actually vegan, including using vegan sugar and having a vegan section of the kitchen. Small establishment, but truly the highest standards in this regard.

Minako is such a wonderful place to have authentic, tasteful and clean Japanese food. Yoko is an amazing cook and will go out of her way to make sure you are satisfied. Friendly and welcoming. There are many gluten-free options which is a plus. We go there often and never regret it. Chicken Katsu is my favorite!

Just ordered your chicken katsu curry!! Oishikatta!! Perfect spiced curry delicately pankoed chicken katsu and the homemade katsu sauce was super yummy! Gochisō sama! Matta kimasu!
