Shihlin Taiwan Street Snacks

Every time we come to San Mateo, even though we are already stuffed with a full meal from elsewhere, we will still swing by here and get their fried popcorn chicken or the XL chicken. It's that good. Enough said. ?

Ordered popcorn chicken. It was pretty soft.. nothing like popcorn. I was trying to show off Taiwanese food to my friends… but.. it’s embarrassing. Other branch has better popcorn chicken for sure. Very disappointing. Service is very friendly though. But the food is… very disappointing. Hope it just one instance.

Found a metal stable in the rice 滷肉飯 , from the delivery. So scary if I swallowed it ?. There are also pieces of egg shell this is fine comparing to the metal stable.

Their chicken tastes like rubber ? how can this be their most popular dish? would still come back here to try their other things but if you're going to give prison food don't charge for $12.. definitely not like Taiwan at all which was very fresh in their
