La Monina - San Miguel de Cozumel

Wife didn't want to eat anywhere else. she loved eating and service. the accommodation is located directly on the beach. great place to dinner with views of the sunset. great place to breakfast and then snorkel down. then happy hour: she liked this place too much. they will love eating but come back because the service is wonderful.

Tischservice salsa was excellent. both meals, lobster risotto and mixed fajitas were delicious and great. the sundown view was not like that. all about the experience here was top notch!

This was my sixth trip to cozumel, but somehow our first time to visit la monina. I wish we had found this jewel before! after my family had finally collapsed, ate and drank there three times in two days! we could not get enough of this great restaurant right on the water. guacamole is made fresh at her table, drinks are generous, and eating is tasteful. the price is reasonable and worth every penny. excellent service, casual island atmosphere, live music and magnificent view, especially at sunset. we will definitely visit la monina on our next trip later this year.

La comida es buena, pero no es lo mejor que se puede encontrar en la isla. En el menú ofrecen cerveza oscura, pero no pudieron servirnos porque no la tenían enfriando. Lo peor fue que el mesero que nos atendió se tomó solo la propina. De una cuenta de $715, se llevó $100. Nunca aprobaremos los lugares que se toman la libertad de manejar tu dinero como les convenga para recibir la propina que ellos quieran. Por esa única razón, ni lo recomiendo ni volvería.
