I am a long-time customer of this place. I always came back mainly for the service and the dishes, from breakfasts, lunches and snacks. But today I had to experience a very unfortunate situation with a manager named Paola. Which never wanted to give me her last name. I went to share a snack with two friends and when paying the CTA we decided to pay half debit and half cash, the cashier came back saying that the manager told her that she wouldn't be able to take the payment because I never told her that I wanted to pay that way. I get up so they can give me a solution and explain that I didn't have all the money to pay the total in cash and that the business accepts debit payment. He told me that he didn't care but that he had already issued me the ticket to pay in one way or another and that I couldn't do it with two different payment methods. Exactly the total CTA was $17,300. We didn't have all the money plus the fact that it was pouring rain outside to go to an ATM. At no time did he offer me any alternative, he flatly refused, answering me in a bad way. I consider that today, as things are, it is a luxury to go out to eat and as a customer you can decide how to pay depending on the total amount of your CTA. It's a shame it's used because it really gave me a hard time. Paola, you should take care of your source of work and learn to serve customers.
