It was an absolute pleasure, carmen and her family to join in their warm and welcoming home for lunch! the food was delicious, I cannot emphasize enough so delicious! they served us four different dishes with accompanying garnishes and dips, all created with local ingredients and with love. their focus on the growth of their own food and medicine and on sustainability is inspiring. from the moment at my two friends and I came through the doorstep to say our last farewell, we all felt so welcome and were in the scare of the beautiful space that this family created. carmen and their two daughters are also so sweet! I really enjoyed how they all joined us for the meal and we have learned more about them and their project thanks to carmen, for everything! it was a pleasure to meet them and their family, I can't expect to come back!
