Espadin - San Pedro Mixtepec Distr

It's worth it! Quality food! Beautiful presentation- excellent staff!!! Mahi Mahi was a huge piece of fish cooked perfection- beautiful sauce and delicious sides. Husbands zartoin steak was cooked for perfection and he said was the best tenderloin he had in years!!! Cesar Salat...was so excellent- I want to go every day to have one!!! The view overlooks a beautiful bay and sunsets every evening. Go early to claim a seat - no reservations (we arrived at 5:25 and there were only a few tables). Really was the best meal we had in Mexico - have been on the road for a few months. All served hot, at the same time and was incredibly delicious!!! Costs for local standards - but for Canadian prices at least 1/3 the costs.

We haven't been to Espadin yet and it was highly recommended. We went without reservation for dinner on Valentine's Day. OOPS! They were able to press us after a short waiting period that was very appreciated. The location is quite remote, but the taxi...knew where you go, 10-15 minutes taxi ride from Playa Zicatela. Beautiful white lights in the night make for a beautiful ambience. We sat right next to the open air wall and although it was a bit windy, it was a welcome breeze. Service was excellent, food was well presented and very delicious! We look forward to returning to the time of day to see the amazing view of the sea. It is worth reaching the extra long taxi ride at this special location. No cheap dinner, but definitely what we paid.

Five star location (incredible vistas), four star food and three star value. Go for the experience to celebrate the views, the service and a moment with someone (or more) special. Certainly expensive according to PE standards, but certainly not over the best price wise and there... were certainly some options for most budgets. As others mentioned, the sunset views were amazing.

Fillet Mignon that cost over 400 pesos came raw (dark purple and cold in the middle). Service was not great for the most part. Otherwise food was good.

The view itself would be worth a visit to this place, but the food also deserves. We had starters and main meals, all good. Also good cocktails. Recommended.
