Inasmuch as their tamales are good and they are one of the few Salvadorian restaurants in Marin County, I despise their customer service, not only are they rude, but the demeanor they treat customers is unacceptable. The place is not clean, is all dirty and their clientele is a whole bunch of drunkards whom at one time wanted to mugged me and bully for nothing. I feared for my life that night because he had a whole bunch of friends and acted like a gang banger. I am surprised the Environmental department have not closed down that place. all their staff are nastily rude. despicable.
Delicious tamales, pupusas and chicharrónes con yuca frita. Music can be somewhat loud.
Took my daughter here on our quest for the best taco in marin. Definitely stood the test, good sign that we were the only two gringos. We definitely liked the el pastor the best! Juicy, grizzly, tasty!
This spot should be illegal! Once in a lifetime you find an authentic place run by authentic culture. Similar to Sandrino in Sausalito (pizzaria run by Italian immigrants and their children incorporating authentic family recipes) this pupuseria is the perfect spot to divulge in the real cuisine of El Salvador by real El Salvadorians. Bring cash... yeah it's that kind of place. Stop by if you love to take advantage of authentic food in a beloved melting pot we call Marin County; if not have a great meal at chipotle.
