Kababbq - San Rafael

My family and friends come to this place a lot for celebrations of birthdays, graduation celebrations or just dinner. The food here is delicious, although my regular falafel salad seems a little less dense in leaf green mass the last time I left. Still, it tasted great. I recommend the herbs and feta cheese or the Kashk-E-Bademjan for appetizers. Everything's great for Entrees. I especially enjoy their grilled tomatoes. The service here is great. My only complaint would be that the young lady who is the waitress, it seemed somehow in bad condition and moved in a little scary way that was a little fast. Your kindness felt fake and as a previous waitress, I totally get it but I think success comes from able to make it to the point where people think you really are in a good mood and happy, even if you don't. But besides that she got order, was attentive to the table and seemed really hard to work. I noticed that she also corrected the chefs. So I think she's great overall, maybe it was a free day. In short: good food, good service, genuine Mediterranean/Persian flavors and food. My family will always be there.

Had 3 kabobs with the family meal. Everyone tasted great, but they were made of yogurt sauce, which would have added more to taste. Very big portions. Good drinks too.

NYE was busy! But service was still friendly and food came out quickly. It was a bit chaotic when everyone showed up at the same time, but the food was still great and we finally left full and happy. Would recommend.

The food was delicious! This place has a very relaxed atmosphere and service. Our experience here was very beautiful. Probably not the best choice if you are in a hurry. It is worn away on the side/back of a stripe marble, so not the best location, but it has a look at the channel/Marina.

Gotta say, this place was really really good. They got the medium-rare just right on the kabob, which was a tasty surprise (because most places can't really manage that). The char on the meat was excellent. The rice was excellent, the sides were excellent. It was ready quick, made to order and left me feeling really great. I'm a big fan, if I lived in the area I'd be here all the time.
