The ambience is a basic Mexican restaurant that could use some spruce and more thorough cleaning. The music was spiritual, but somewhat too loud to conduct a conversation in interiors with a “inner voice”. These observations aside, the menu is extensive and has many dishes that you usually do not find in Mexican restaurants. Prices are higher than other Mexican restaurants, but the portions are very generous, so the value is there. I would recommend the restaurant and plan to go back when in the area, but could decide to sit outside when the weather is warmer.
The food is so authentic and delicious. I love her brunch! The Carnitas, the different Mole and Pozole are supposed to die for this. The Café de olla is kept hot over a flame and the homemade tortillas are so good. I love coming here and bringing new friends.
The chicken was smelly that we did not notice in time.
My husband and I travel from SF to enjoy their delicious brunch buffet on Sundays. I am Mexican myself so when I am craving a traditional Mexican brunch this is the spot! Freshly made tortillas, menudo, pozole, lots of moles and cafe de la olla! It doesn’t get any better than this. The staff is always very welcoming, great service, and great ambiance. Great for small groups, but do make a reservation ahead of time if you’ll need a table for more than 6 people. Love this place!
