San Rafael Joe's

I visited this restaurant with three other friends who follow a whole food plant-based diet, and I was pleased to find a nice selection on the menu for us to choose from. The food was decent, but nothing really stood out in my mind. It's an old Italian restaurant, and if you bring along any meat-eaters, they'll likely be very happy with the options. I would give it 3 stars, but I’d add an extra star if they offered a more extensive herbal menu.

The waiting staff here is incredibly friendly and helpful. This 75-year-old restaurant is a delightful haven of culinary variety. The portions are generous, and the menu features an appealing selection of pasta, seafood, and other favorites. The pot roast, in particular, was outstanding. This place is definitely worth a visit.

We were the last guests to leave, and at no point did we feel rushed to hurry out. Whether you're just going out for dinner with family and friends or planning a larger event, we highly recommend this restaurant. The food and service are both outstanding. Old School Restaurant, which has made fantastic meals for what seems eternal! We had the Prime Rib last night and it was extremely delicate and tasteful. The staff was also great and very attentive to all guests in the large dining room. We have added deserts since we celebrate our anniversary, but really, that was probably too much food.

Charming building and atmosphere. Excellent and competent staff. Excellent old cocktails. Delicious food. Some of the best live dinner music I heard. Just the right band with the accordion and sang some unforgettable Sinatra songs perfectly in the mood. Overall a wonderful experience. I would like to visit again in the future.
