La Taberna - San Salvador

Love this place, always a great atmosphere and food is delicious

La Taberna is a happening location to visit, the prices for the food and the quality and amounts are fair, to say the least. The enviroment is adecuate for adults and even family with older children. So far I can say that every dollar spent has been worth the while. I highly reccomend La Taberna, for locals as well as for foreigners visiting. The area is safe for the locals the facility is clea, and the service is fast in comparison to many other places.

The serving sized were more than adequate and food was very tasty, but they took a long time to serve it. Even though the place was not full, it was a bit difficult to get the waiters' attention.

We were 15 people visiting at once from 5pm to about 10pm; almost all of us us got sick back home with diarrhea, we suppose it was food poisoning due to careless food manipulation in the kitchen: we ate fish, pizza and shrimp entries, hamburger and other dishes. Sound of the singer was terrible quality, you could not distinguish different instruments in the music.
