The black pudding at 6 Euros was astonishingly good, sliced and fried, served simply with some fried onions. Plenty for two people to share. The highlight had to be the spaghetti with seafood (Sopa Seca Marinera at 16 Euros per person) served in a pan like paella. There was crab, scallops, prawns, clams, mussels and lots of delicate squid. All the seafood was excellent. We did our best to finish it and almost did. We were tempted to order it again on our second visit but settled for the fish of the day, which turned out to be some kind of Scorpion fish. Again, served simply but extremely well cooked. We had a table at the rear of the restaurant both times. Although there was some passing traffic, it was largely quiet. Great service too from Rebe, who did her best to accommodate English people with only a few feeble words of Spanish. Highly recommended.
Very friendly waitress. We ordered 4 dishes to share and this was more than enough! Very simple dishes ,but excellent taste! Sit at the back ,not at the street. It is quiter to enjoy!
They are very hospitable. Very good food. Nice cook. Outrageous dishes. We liked it all! Order the sangria.
One of us is vegan and the stuff we’re amazing and made us some vegan options that were really good! The sea food was very fresh and super tasty. Highly recommended! Muy buenas platos veganas!!
The bar colón is next to the port of San vicente de la barquera, and being a seafaring village, could not miss to try a table of seafood and fish, which offered for 24€, including drink (water or wine) in general everything was quite rich, and although we were not very hungry, we ate everything in part of the sea table, there is also a menu of the day and many rations, which is usually the most common
