El Parador - San Vicente de la Barquera

We went to have luch with some friends. Available fix price menu for adults and children. Despite the food was not outstanding, the bill was slightly expensive. The venue was very nice though.

It is a good place to stop after the steep walk in the hills coming from San Vicente de Barquera. We just had a coffee but the lady was very nice and the coffee was fine.

A few kilometers south of San Vicente de la Barquera is Maria's small restaurant that the locals know and visit. The bar is small, but there are usually people playing dominoes or reading the newspaper. Dining interior is simple, but is weighed up by Maria's food that is good and plentiful. It is Maria at the bar Maria in the kitchen and Maria serving. Cosy atmosphere. You can also sit outside and enjoy your meal.

A quiet place where to bite or eat for an acceptable price
