When it came time to pay I assume he thought he would get a substantial tip but I tip based off the service provided. I put the cash down and told him he could keep the remainder to which he replied oh thanks. When he walked back to the server station I don't think he cared that I could still see him. He proceeded to throw a bit of a tantrum crumbling up the receipt and rolled his eyes and scoffed under his breath. I was never allowed to collect my copy of the receipt in order to add it to my points account. So this experience was a waste for more reasons than one. I tried asking another waitress for the receipt and was told he can print it. I continued to wait and nothing. Eventually I had to leave. This waiter really has left a poor taste in my mouth. If I happen to get seared again I will request ANYONE ELSE. He really needs to be trained on how to be more professional and nice to other human beings. Especially in his line of work.
Worst meal I ever had and the Manager was horrible. After a long day of sightseeing, we were starved. I ordered the TriTip Wedge Salad. The meat was so tough it couldn't be cut or chewed. Two wedges of iceberg lettuce with very little toppings. Basically tasted like watery iceberg lettuce. For $18.95 I was not happy. Expressed my disappointment to waitress. She said she'd have manager talk to me. I explained my disappointment. His only option for me was to get another piece of meat and more toppings. After 20 minutes when my 3 friends were about done eating, they brought me a new piece of meat....it was not sliced, it was nearly raw and I couldn't cut or chew it. I once again complained at which point they asked if I wanted something else. Since everyone was done eating and I was so disappointed, I finally ordered a bowl of chicken tortilla soup as it would be quick. A small bowl for $8.95 but better then nothing. They offered nothing for my frustration and bad meal...I was charged for my over priced soup. Everyone else's meals were good, but how I was treated after being served a meal that was not eatable will keep us from ever eating here again. The manager really needs to learn what customer service really means.
The food is good, but the place is dirty. There were crumbs on the table where they seated me, and wrappers under the table. The water glasses felt grimey and had little bits of gunk stuck on them. The plates of food came out with food splattered on the bottom. I talked to the manager and out of four meals, only one meal was taken off my ticket. I may return to BJ's, but certainly not this location.
Awesome environment, great prices, great food and great beer.
