Entree's were superb and mains like most places some were okay and some were exceptional. Quaint surroundings, doesn't look Thai but who cares. It is small and that doesn't matter either. I made a booking for 10 but wasn't sure if 2 people were coming. The owner rang me on the day to confirm it was 8 or 10, that was a nice touch. Considering it's locality and the size of the restaurant we had a lovely evening and the food was what you would expect. BYO and reasonable prices.
Very oily, fish didn't seem too fresh and the noodles were basically a heap of carbs without a vegetable in sight. Restaurant also needs an extractor fan to pull out the oil and grease that lingers in the air and an update on the decor wouldn't hurt. Definitely not going back..
Quaint restaurant with great food. Service was a little slow. But the food was worth the wait. Reasonable prices. BYO
My husband and I have become regulars at Lay's whenever we are in sanctuary point. Everything we have ordered on the menu has been absolutely delicious. This is the best Thai food we have ever had anywhere. Troy the waiter and one of the proprietors is friendly and helpful. The restaurant is converted corner store and is quaint. However Lay's cooking is a force to be reckoned with. The fish cakes are unbelievable and every curry we have tried is amazing. She used fresh ingredients and presents the good beautifully. What a find in the most unexpected place. Go there. You will not be disappointed.
