Would have rated them with a negative star if I could. It was about 9:25pm on 12/15/17 while we were in Starbucks drinking our coffee when the rude older employee probably in his 50’s looked over and said “We are closed now!”. At that time there were about 5 people in line waiting to order their coffee.
The restaurant is small and noisy, with a tendency to be too warm for comfort. It gives off more of a classroom vibe than a Starbucks ambiance.
I went to Starbucks and the gentleman working there was incredibly kind to me. I just wanted to express my gratitude for his excellent service.
I have decided to stop going to Starbucks. The employees there have a condescending attitude, and the quality of their coffee seems to be decreasing, resembling more like coffee-flavored water every day. At $5.00 per cup, I am tired of spending my hard-earned money on an inferior product. When I was younger, we used to pay only a dime for a cup of coffee with unlimited refills. Even though times have changed, I find it unreasonable to be overcharged by companies that prioritize their brand name over the quality of their product. Starbucks no longer interests me, and their poor coffee brewing skills have disappointed me. I invested in a coffee grinder, bought my own beans, and now I enjoy a freshly brewed cup of coffee every morning for only 20 cents. This change is saving me $33.00 each week, or $1,700.00 annually. After calculating the costs, I realized that my morning coffee at Starbucks was costing me a significant amount without even giving me a proper caffeine boost.
