Bakerfield Espresso Cafe - Sandakan

My favourite cafe in sandakan to catch up with friends. Best nutty tiramisu in town. Many others seasonal cakes as well

Despite coming here several times due to invites from friends, I still cannot understand the appeal of this place. The drinks are passable at best, and the homemade , natural bakery items are stale, bland and overpriced. Meals here are decent, but you can definitely get better from other cafes nearby. They apparently make their own ice cream, which is far too sweet. Similarly, the limited drinks choices too are heavy on the sugar. Despite this, the place is still popular with the younger crowds, especially on weekends.

Quite a good mixture of relax and happenings ambience here and mostly crowded during lunch hour. Serves value for money lunch sets and the food is quite good for a fusion of bakery and cafe. Chair is not comfortable though.
