Daves Bbq In Virg - Sandbridge

First time I been there and I had the brisket, it was pretty good

We are from California (but we are not like the rest of those odd citizens). This place is excellent and if we ever return to Virginia Beach for sure I will return. Had trouble writing this due to my meat coma.

Dave's was FANTASTIC. Back home in Virginia Beach last weekend for a nostalgic visit. Our old spot at Hilltop, next to the former medical supply store is long gone. We tried Dave's and it rocked! Lucky, my wife and I wanted pulled pork sandwiches because they were sold out of brisket and ribs. I would have tried both.lots of care goes into this food. We are Eastern Carolina vinegar based folks and Dave's sauce was great. They have numerous options. We can't get back to Va. Beach fast enough to hit Dave's again. Next time I will ask if they can toss our pulled pork in the sauce in a small bowl before installation on the very fresh roll. 6 stars for this joint! UPDATE: Back in VAB and at Dave's one year later. They've moved to a new location. The food is still absolutely fabulous. This place rocks!

This place has incredible food and at a good asking price. I feel like that’s hard to find with bbq now n days.

Great food, large portions and friendly people. Keep up the good work! The briscuit sandwich and spicy slaw is great!
