Waffles Co In Virg - Sandbridge

My mother in law was visiting and we wanted to take her to breakfast and our first choice was not open so we decided to go here last minute. I wish we had just gone home. When we walked in the door the girl sitting at the counter didn’t even welcome us just stared at us. After standing awkwardly in front of her she told us to just sit anywhere. We sat near the door and could hear her welcoming other people in and seating them at booths.we heard her telling other people about the Buffett so we decided to check it out since no one had welcomed us or given us any menus. The Buffett was aweful. Half of it was closed. There were 3 pancakes in the tray, one biscuit, and almost no bacon or sausage. All of it was cold. It was also strangely dark?We grabbed what we could and sat and another lady came from the back to ask our drink orders. In total we got 2 coffees, 3 waters, and 3 adult buffets (if you can even call it that) and it was over $100. Which we didn’t find out until we went to the front to ask about paying since no one brought a check. When we went to pay it asked for a tip and we declined. No one had waited on us, our cups arrived but were never filled, we sat with empty plates, and the Buffett was sad. THE MACHINE WILL NOT LET YOU NOT TIP. And when you decline a tip the girl will get mad and start harassing you about not wanting to tip. We were unhappy with the uneasy atmosphere and the lack of options. We were mad about being berated over not wanting to tip due to horrible service. DO NOT GO HERE.

Food was very good. They even boiled eggs for me! Service was top notch!
