Johnny Rockets - Sandestin

We drove from our Fort Walton hotel to look for Destin and decided to check this place. The area is absolutely stunning, the restaurant is in a great location. Although we sat inside, it was absolutely beautiful. I have the brûlée waffles and the shrimps and grits. Both were the best meal I had in Florida so far, and the food came out quickly. The service was bad. There were several employees who didn't even recognize us. The majority of employees looked upset or harassed, even here. Our coffee and water came with the food. We waited 15 minutes for the check and we had to ask. Overall, this place would have been a 5-star assessment if the staff adapted the excellence of the food and the prospects.

Sunset Bay Cafe offers great food and water views. The service was quick and courteous. Breakfast was hot and flavorful.

We had breakfast in the morning, and it was very peaceful. The location by the pool and bay is fantastic. We ordered eggs Benedict and chicken waffles, and both dishes were delicious. They were served hot and quickly. We thoroughly enjoyed our meal and our time at the café. I highly recommend it!

Wow – this restaurant is truly a hidden gem! It's famous for its shrimp and dimples, but unfortunately, they were sold out, so we missed the chance to try them. Instead, we opted for the chicken and waffles, along with the peach cream pancakes. The peach cream pancakes were delicious, but the chicken and waffles were the best we've ever had. The service was a bit slow, but they were quite busy, so we expected that – it didn't detract from the experience at all. Plus, the restaurant is located in Sunset Bay, a stunning property right by the sea.

We enjoyed a stunning view while sitting outside, with excellent service and truly delicious food! Although there was a bit of a wait to get a table outside, it was definitely worth it. I ordered the Hill Billy and my husband chose the chicken and waffles. Both were fantastic!
