Royal Thai - Sandnes

This Thai restaurant in Sandnes is absolutely fantastic. It might just be one of the top dining options in the area. The staff is friendly, the prices are reasonable, and the menu offers a great selection for both meat and vegetarian diners. The outdoor terrace is a lovely spot to enjoy during the summertime.

We ordered takeout and were pleasantly surprised by the flavorful dishes we received, including GAENG KEAW WAN TOFU and TOM YUM SOUP WITH MUSHROOM. The portion sizes were generous and the delivery staff were punctual and spoke English.

The service was excellent and friendly. The portions were huge and delicious. The option to call the waiters with buttons was a great feature. I believe the prices are too low considering the amount of food and the quality of the dishes. I will definitely be returning to this restaurant.

We only ordered number 300 with duck, but that was not good at all. Maybe they have other nice things on the menu.

We ordered for delivery through foodora. The chicken skewers were ok and that was the highlight of our meal. I don’t normally leave reviews but they forgot my peanut sauce, leaving me with a very bland, plain fried rice with chicken that had possibly been microwaved, or at least cooked without any spices at all, including I think salt. They also forgot both of our drinks, and my boyfriend had about three pieces of equally bland chicken in his pad Thai, which he couldn’t finish as he was left with, I quote, “old tasting noodles”.
