I am accustomed to the style of pizza from New Haven and New York, so this was a disappointment for me. The price of $20 for what was essentially a small/medium pizza seemed too steep. Overall, I don't think it's worth going out of my way for this restaurant.
I was pleasantly surprised by the vegan cheese option at this restaurant. I ordered a calzone and it was delicious.
The crust is excellent and the quality is top-notch.
We chose this restaurant based on the fantastic reviews we had read and it exceeded our expectations. Located just a few minutes away from Cedar Point, the restaurant has ample parking. We arrived around 6:30 and were immediately seated with our waiter taking our order shortly after. While they offer a wide selection of beers and wines, we opted for water since we were driving home. As a party of 2 adults and 2 teens, we ordered 2 large pizzas to share - a cheese pizza for the kids and a meatball pizza for us. The food was incredibly delicious, with a tasty sauce and fresh basil topping. Our server, Durond, was attentive, friendly, and great to chat with, despite being a Cleveland Browns fan (Go Steelers!). I highly recommend visiting this restaurant. Whether you are a local or just passing through, you will enjoy the cozy atmosphere, delicious food, and welcoming staff.
The pizza restaurant is located in a converted old Howard Johnson's building, which they have maintained nicely. The service was friendly and helpful, offering me the option to sample two wines in small schnapps glasses when I couldn't decide. We started with the bruschetta, which was mostly cheese bread with very little basil. My husband and I split a Caesar salad, while my son had a side Caesar salad. Despite requesting dressing on the side, both salads arrived fully dressed with extra on the side, which was a first for us. The pizza was average, with my husband and I sharing a Greek pizza with a sauce swap that was accommodated without issue. My son had a make-your-own pizza with basil and garlic, but there was very little basil. Overall, it's a decent family-friendly establishment with friendly service and okay pizza.
