Ordered a large mix grill, chicken and lamb curries with salad and nan breads....the rest is history....food finished, complimented the chef and team and happily on we went. No harm in trying The Rampa at all. Keep up the good work.
Decided to try a takeaway from here, phoned number from website 18:55 on 2nd December 2017, lady answered the phone told me to wait as she continued talking to someone else. 3 minutes I waited then finally I ordered Chefs special mixed grill plain chips. I was told £16:74 it would be 45 minutes. Well 45 minutes past by as did 60 minutes. I phoned again and asked where my order was, a man told me it was on its way, now bearing in mind it’s less than 1 mile away from my home I waited by the front door. The order didn’t arrive so again I phoned, told again it was on its way, I said how long would it be? He said 5 to 7 minutes. Ok I thought, it’s Saturday night probably busiest time I will give them the benefit of the doubt. My meal finally arrived at 20:35! By this time I was really hungry, I could have eaten my own arm!! I opened the bag, cold chips!! I opened the foil bag which was bursting with Tikka Wings, there were 2 butterfly king prawns, 2 kebabs, 2 burnt lamb chops 4 very soggy fish pakoras. I told my husband to tuck in, he started eating just looked at me with disappointment. I sat down tried the enormous meat fest. OMG utterly disgusting!! So very disappointed! What a complete waste of money! I definitely will not be eating from here again! My own arm would have been a better choice!!
Terrible flat beer and food is just as bad not to mention the rude owner. There's a reason it's so cheap and cheaper than the red lion because it's terrible.
I took my family here tonight for a meal before my wedding tomorrow. The food as usual was very good, sadly there was a large group who were unable to talk but instead found it necessary to shout at each other with the volume increasing with each comment. I was most disappointed that the staff did nothing to lower the volume of these people. Not sure if they were afraid or simply unaware that they will loose custom if this type of behavior continues. I will most certainly not be going back.
VERY greasy, VERY salty, VERY nasty. Picked up a Chefs Mixed grill, Lamb Rogan Josh keema naan. The Rogan Josh was underneath a 1 inch thick of grease. Once I drained the grease I think I drank a litre of water while eating from the saltiness and the amount of spice to mask what is a dull curry. The mixed grill was better but still salty and chicken looked like soft pork crackling. Won't be going again.
