But it actually smelled more like fish outside the restaurant than it did inside. So I was OK. The hostess was really nice to sit us in a booth when she wasn't planning on it. She told us that we would just have to wait a little bit for the server to be ready for us because she had to set someone in his section. We told her we were totally fine to just hang out and wait. But he actually came over right away. We told him to take his time because we knew he was busy, and we asked to sit there, but he was so good and was right on top of everything. I'm luckily the hubs only got shrimp drenched in some kind of the sauce so it wasn't stinky. Lol. The spinach artichoke dip was delicious! The chips were a little flavorless so those could've been better. But the dip made up for it. The fettuccine Alfredo was really good. I put the broccoli from my husband's dish on my Alfredo, and it was amazing!
We showed up at 8:15 and she said to give her 5 minutes to clean a table. Well five minutes passed and no one was around! I walked to the middle of the restaurant and still one came up to help. We ended up leaving. I'm so disappointed!!!
Good food. Good service. Freezing cold inside. All wait staff wearing coats. All customers wearing coats except me, I forgot mine. Chef not wearing a coat. Don't forget your coat.
Took my family to Joe's for dinner. We had the shrimp and crab dip, very tasty, lobster bisque which was okay but not as good as other places No detectable lobster pieces and was baby food consistency and we shared 2 steam pots. They were good but the shrimp was overcooked. Our waitress wasn't very friendly, so she got half of the 25% tip I'd have given her had she been. So all in all, it was a little better than average but for the price, we won't go again anytime soon.
We thought we'd grab a quick meal and drinks before our movie. Asked the hostess if we could get out in 25 minutes and she said yes, as long as we didn't order crab or any big items they had to cook. So she seated us near the kitchen, which I thought was a positive because they'd notice us and we'd be close for quick delivery. We looked over the menu and closed them within 30 seconds so the server would know we were ready to order. Then we waited. And waited. Watched the server take drinks to another table but didn't even look our way. Over 10 minutes? Nah. Not worth it. Walked out and won't go back.
