The groups I take here have been to India, Pakistan, Bangladesh, etc. so this is not new food. If you really know Indian style food, in all its nuances, this will not wow you. But, take some Utah natives? They will love the new and "exotic" flavors.
Royal India is simply the best Indian restaurant in Utah. It has spoiled me for any other Indian restaurant in the west. The lamb Sauga is incredible. As is the chicken Teaka masala. Thomas AutoCorrect. I meant to say darn this article wrecked. Are you kidding me?
I've had great experiences at the 3 different visits I've had to Royal India. The sauces were flavorful and meats tender. I often find that Indian places get away with the quality of chicken because it is swimming in sauce. However, Royal India has great chicken. The tikka masala is my favorite. Don't be fooled by the simple curb presence. Once you enter you can see how charming it is decorated. I recommend this place!
