Penny Mart - Sandy Hook

We were in this area to see a dentist. A local person recommended it as a good place to eat. It's pretty much like a country store. The food was good. Hot and served quickly. They had a nice variety on the menu. Burgers and plate lunches. The special was pot roast and all the fixings. The service was great and it was moderately crowded at lunch time.

My crew I ate here a couple of times while teaching classes at the local Correctional Facility. The Food was really really good, nothing fancy, but well worth the money...

I got a simple cheeseburger with curds. The burger nor cheese curds were the typical overly bar food greasy, they were scrumptious! The owner was very friendly and personable! I definitely will eat here again!

Great staff and amazing food. Got breakfast this morning and let me tell you the omelettes we're absolutely delicious. Never a disappointment when coming here.
