Abuelos Mexican Kitchen - Sandy Springs

Not impressed. I ordered a Speedy Gonzalez from the lunch menu. The Speedy (taco, enchilada, rice, beans) was $9.30 after taxes. A bit steep for what it is and compared to what other places charge, but I gave it a shot. The taco and enchilada are small. See pic. This is a standard styrofoam to-go container. Taste-wise, not impressed. The staff were nice. The place looks nice, but what will make me never go back is that my to-go order did not come with chips/salsa. Thatis extra! I do not recommend this place.

Googled this place driving through the area. The food and atmosphere were good. My margarita was really good as well. The server seemed to be a little behind, but besides that the experience was pretty good. I would visit again.

I love their selections and service but our entrees were extremely salty. Like so much I didn't finish my chicken lol. I love chicken : I will still go back and hopefully it has been corrected. We didn't say anything. Actually just typing this review is tempting me Haha. Also they accommodated our dietary needs with a smile

Loved our dinner here ???? Every member of the team here was attentive and no one lacked a great attitude. Rare these days! The food was delicious-we will definitely go back! Try their Chile Relleno-I added chicken. Yum!

We have been to this place before and we have pleats experience but since the menu changed, they have increased the price of food which i understand due to covid. But charging extra for chips and salsa is unheard of at Mexican restaurant. Also we paid $2.25 for 2 oz cup of hot salsa which was half way filled!
