I have ordered from this place multiple times, both in person and over the phone, often just before their closing time, and they were always eager to take my order and provide great service. However, this time I had an unpleasant experience on the phone with Piyush (or Peeyush). Here are the issues I encountered: 1) This was the first time I called four times but only managed to get through once. 2) He refused to take my order over the phone, even though I called at 9:19 PM (and they close at 10 PM). Despite my insistence and attempts to call back even after 9:30, he remained unhelpful. 3) I mentioned that I was only 5 minutes away, but he still wouldn't take my order and insisted that payment had to be made online or that it had to be done in person at the restaurant. I've had great experiences at this place in the past and have introduced many of my Indian and American friends to it, but this incident left a bitter taste in my mouth. As a result, not only have I decided to stop visiting, but at least five of my friends have also chosen to no longer patronize this restaurant. The staff mentioned that they would escalate the call to India, and I hope they consider posting a US number on Google in the future for direct contact. I don’t see myself returning to this restaurant—not because of the food, which I have always enjoyed, but because of the service. If I do decide to go back someday and experience better service, I will gladly update this review.
I would rate this restaurant no more than one star. The Indian food was the worst I've ever had, nowhere near the quality of Bawarchi. The biryani tasted like plain white rice with no flavor at all. The only decent items were the appetizers. They only offered two spice levels: medium and spicy, but the medium was actually quite spicy, so be careful if you can't handle much heat. Additionally, the main course arrived at the same time as the appetizers, which was confusing since we ordered the main course after the appetizers. Overall, I wouldn't recommend dining here.
The service was delightful and the food was excellent! We truly enjoyed our vegetarian meal. Tip: there's a discount for cash payments.
Very poor service. only a few customers, but the waitress was very worried that she had to discuss the menu with us. has shaved her head (as in the ecle) when she left with our order. someone else has delivered the food. She never came back to check us out. not even. no refills on water. terrible. spent all their time seeing the television at the wall as they come in the door. I had to get up and go to get them (2 ladies now) to pay off the check-out device and the food. we were literally in the process to complete the transaction. on the bottom of the restaurant lay dirty hand towels, the spilled liquid or something so sucked up. not very neat. I'm not an expert on Indian cuisine, but for what we ate the aromen were pretty good. we are not going back.
Littrally the best Indian place you could ever go to. Such a clean environment. Pleasant workers . I had curry goat and it was made to perfection. I really recommend this place to everyone looking to try some good Indian food . :
