Uncle Julio's Sandy Springs

Everything was great. but we were there for a midday meeting and it was extremely loud and made it very difficult to make a talk. I'm sure it's a very funny place at the evenings and weekends.

The dining experience is exceptional. The steak fajitas are the best I've ever had, and the tableside guacamole is absolutely amazing!

The service was poor and slow. The staff seemed indifferent to providing customers with a quality experience. We ordered the steak fajitas, which were good, but they arrived without tortillas. It was difficult to find someone to request them, as there was hardly anyone on the floor. Eventually, a staff member returned, but there are several other Mexican restaurants nearby that are better. This place does not reflect our usual expectations for Mexican cuisine.

I had a disappointing experience at this restaurant. First, the hostess was unfriendly, which set a negative tone for our visit. When we were seated, we noticed that the tablecloth was dirty. Additionally, the staff member who prepared our guacamole didn't ask us how we wanted it seasoned, which was a missed opportunity for personalization. When we decided not to eat the guacamole, our waitress didn’t offer us any chips or salsa, which I found surprising, as I've never encountered this issue in other restaurants before. I also used OpenTable to make our reservation and redeem points, but interestingly, no one at the restaurant seemed to understand how OpenTable points worked. I ended up having to call OpenTable directly to get the points credited back to my account. Overall, I was quite disappointed with the service and cleanliness during our visit.

My wife's birthday was on 2/22, and she wanted to try Uncle Julio's in Sandy Springs. The location was nice, but the service was poor. The food was ok; Mexican food is the same everywhere you go. Our waitress was a young girl and young people do not understand the value of good customer service. She forgot drinks that we asked for and seemed to have a bad attitude when we ask for refills. I personally will not go back.
