El Mexicano - Sanford

Glad to find this gem in Sanford. The best burritos I’ve ever had! Recommend the tomatillo burrito, the Sanford burrito was delicious too. If you like spice, ask for the picante salsa. The atmosphere and the service was great too!

Fantastic burritos. We've traveled all of Mexico and these are some of the best we've had (although we hardly saw burritos anywhere in Mexico). Lots of flavor!! A very spicy picante salsa is available if you ask for it. Recommend the burrito Sanford and the burrito tomatillo. Friendly and quick service. Beautiful restaurant. Beyond impressed.

The food is always so good and fresh. The wait staff is always so nice when coming inside the restaurant. Never had a bad experience when coming in to dine in or do take out.

So sad that this was so good because I am not from here but the most phenomenal Mexican food and the kindest most attentive servers. 11/10

My husband and I visit often. My favorite is the elote. Hispanic music plays, chips and salsa are served free.
