Le Peep - Sangamon

Quite busy for a Wednesday morning but food was delicious, the staff was so kind, and this is one cute gem that I just discovered

In my opinion, this restaurant is the best in Springfield for breakfast. Food quality is always very high, the service is fantastic and the staff is always very friendly.

Clayton was our server. Polite, expedient, handled everything with ease including special order. Food was great, delicious, presented well. They leave the coffee pot with you per table for self poor. Genius. The menu is great, easy to read, has the calories listed, and even an explanation of how eggs are prepared. And they had those little strawberry candies at the front. The best.

Bigger portions, lower prices, and a clientele finally starting to skew below an average age of 65. If you haven’t been to Le Peep in a while, try them again. Secret menu pro tip: The Southwestern Omelette is a Spanish omelette with added chorizo. Parking: It gets busy.

Great spot for breakfast, brunch or lunch. So many options to choose from and everything is served fast and hot. My only request would be some actual sausage in the sausage gravy but that's being super particular.
