Also be aware that the full menu is not available all day we stopped by at 6pm another day and the drinks, smoothies, crepes, sweets, ice lollies were all avaiable, as were the oysters and paninis, other items like the burgers and chips start later in the evening. So, you can get 6 oysters with a glass of white wine for 8 euros. They set up a few outdoor tables overlooking the beach with lake views. The oysters were nice enough, not the best I 've ever had but it was all very pleasant. There is a free car park just past this place at the end of the street. There were plenty of spaces both times we went. The beach outside Chez Ponpon has a playground on it (or aire de jeux . The equipment seems geared at 1 4 year olds but still our kids weren 't turning their nose up at a playground on a beach!
