We had an excellent lunch there. the food was a lot and the price was very reasonable. Surprisingly, there were many people there. it turned out to be a family business, and the son and father served us. it has a very good location, surrounded by trees,. fields, mountain, with snow-covered peaks in itself and a large river that flows down the hill.

This family owned restaurant is located in a village with a stunning view to a mountain panorama. They serve typical local food (from the region of Kärnten/Austria) in a great variety and quality. The restaurant offers several guest areas, from cozy small tables to banquette halls. Some specific dishes like "Backhähnderl" (roasted chicken) have to be preordered (one day before) for freshness. I can recommend the "Wiener Schnitzel" (Vienna Schnitzel) with French fries or better with pan fried potatoes and the Vogerl salat (field salat with bacon and potatoes) and Cevapcici (minced meat sticks from the grill). An absolute must is the "Kremschnitten" (creme cake) for desert. Better reserve your portion already when you enter the restaurant, as this desert is daily fresh and yummie and therefore often sold out.
